Returns

We hope that you will be thrilled with your purchase from us! 

Because items are made order, please only order when you are sure you love them - this cuts down on waste and is better for the environment. 

Please measure carefully *before you order* using the sizing guides here (this can also be found on each product page), so as to ensure a great fit. 

PLEASE NOTE that it is important to measure accurately before purchasing, because we make all items to order. Please refer to the size guides on the website and check measurements against a garment you already own, to ensure a perfect fit.

However, should you wish to return an item, please follow the instructions below and we will do our best to assist you. 

We have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Any items returned to us which are not in a saleable condition will not be refunded and will be returned to you. 

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@goodthingsgoodpeople.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for return postage costs. We recommend using a recorded or tracked service, as goods sent to us are your responsibility. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

It is important that you contact us quickly in the event of a fault or error, so that we can rectify it for you as soon as possible. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items) cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
